Eileen and Kimberly Petrucha

Petrucha Ranch operated as a family cattle and rice farm for over 200 years. Eileen and Kimberly now keep a small Red Brangus herd and lease the land for crops.

Both Eileen and Kimberly have held a deep appreciation for animals from an early age. Eileen, a native Texan with family heritage in Matagorda County, is descended from generations of cattle ranchers and rice farmers. Kimberly originates from Akron, Ohio. Her relatives have maintained wheat farming operations on the West Coast since the early 1900’s. Through their collaborative efforts, their enthusiasm for animal care has evolved into the development of luxury boarding services for both dogs and cats. Their enduring commitment to animal welfare is now reflected in a modern, state-of-the-art pet retreat.

Eileen and Kimberly’s companion animals consist of Finley, a Miniature Poodle; Dolly, a Rat Terrier mix; Millie, a German Shepherd mix; and BG, the original barn cat. All our family pets reside harmoniously on the ranch. Over time, BG has also introduced five additional stray cats to the property.

Eileen and Kimberly are committed to delivering individualized care for every pet under their supervision. Each animal possesses a unique temperament.  Time is devoted to understanding each pet’s specific requirements for an optimal visit. Whether caring for dogs in spacious kennels or suites with off-leash playtime or providing cats with tranquil and inviting spaces, Petrucha Ranch is a reliable facility for pet owners who value the highest standards for their companions.
